something is said that restores one's faith in America. The latest: Obama's response to an AP question about whether he'd be spending much time in Chicago once he moved into the White House. His
answer (scroll to bottom of article) : "My Kennebunkport is on the South Side of Chicago." I never thought I'd hear those words, ever.
Well, yeah. That's cool. And let's hope that Obama sets the record for the least vacation days while in office. On the other hand, let's hope he has the taste and refinement to appreciate a little recreation. A president who takes a break is - and I propose this entirely a priori - good for the economy.
