What's wrong with America?

Here, in detailed presentation, are two features of American global policy that I detest: Its militarism and its blind, greed-driven dependence on oil. There are others: Its crass materialism and dollar-dominated corporatism, the inequities of world wealth that it causes and perpetuates, its aspiration to empire and a few others. But the first two--they're the ones that are going to ruin our nation and destroy the planet first.
