Another day in Paradise

Reported today: Gasoline delivery in Iraq is dwindling because of official corruption and mismanagement. Insurgent attacks are on the increase. The number of nations comprising the "coalition of the willing" is shrinking. The utilities services (water, electricity, sewer) are still below pre-invasion levels, even after sixteen billion American tax dollars have been spent to build infrastructure. And the Iraqi police force that the US Army is training is riddled with corruption and incompetence.

In a little over a month, we will "celebrate" the third anniversary of our "cakewalk" into Iraq.
