You heard it here first

or maybe second, because I thought of it a week or so ago, but didn't blog about it, then I heard it--a quick suggestion-- on the Rim of Fire program yesterday: Matt Damon for President.

He'd never take the job. The guy is 40 years old and a minor deity, well off and answerable to no boss, let alone 300 million insane bosses. Why on earth would he endure the protracted embalming process of seeking high elected office? He'd be shriveled and gray, or dead, before 50.
