You can't make this shit up

From the Washington Times:
"The head of a California company hired by the U.S. government to help build a fence along the Southwest border to curb the flow of illegal aliens into the United States has been sentenced on charges of hiring illegals for the job."

In a way, I feel sorry for the contractor who's going to jail. The US has so screwed up its immigration policy for the mexicans that the irony of the situation is patemt. I think it should be a symbol for our nations's failure to act reasonably and compassionately toward the great country of Mexico whose people are our brothers and sisters and should be adopted by us in return for our having taken the most productive part of their country as part of our greedy imperialism of the last century.
